Redevelopment plans for Caerphilly Workmen’s Hall are shaped by the voices of the local community.

Engagement with residents highlighted a clear ambition for a top-notch theatre space, somewhere creativity can thrive, and the community can come together.

The project, led by Cynefin Caerffili, aims to transform the historic hall into a vibrant, free-to-access cultural venue, with cinema screens, creative studios, and flexible work spaces for everyone.

This redevelopment will not only strengthen Caerffili’s cultural offering but also help create a more family-friendly night-time economy.

The project aims to attract people seeking events and activities in the town, while encouraging more families to spend time in Caerphilly.

The Caerphilly Town 2035 Placemaking Plan is working in close partnership with Cynefin Caerffili, offering strategic support to help shape and expand new creative opportunities in town.
