In partnership with Transport for Wales, Caerffili Transport Interchange is getting a £40 million upgrade.
The brand-new, state-of-the-art facility will transform the existing train and bus stations into a new flagship transport hub. These improvements will make it easier for everyone to get around – whether you’re heading to work, visiting friends, or exploring the town.
It’s all part of making Caerffili an even better place to live, work, and visit.
The Caerffili interchange will become a distinct feature of the town, enhancing the visitor appeal for future generations.

What's being upgraded
Caerffili’s bus station will be redesigned, making it a more welcoming gateway for anyone arriving in, or heading out of, Caerffili.
The train station will also benefit from a fresh new design, with improvements including increased capacity, a modern concourse and overbridge, and upgraded ticket gate facilities.
The surrounding areas will get freshened up too, ensuring a seamless, attractive and accessible experience to and from the town via public transport.
